COVID-19 Update from Perspective Eyecare

Perspective Eyecare will re-open on Monday, May 18th. In accordance with state and federal recommendations, we are making changes to patient accommodations to best protect our patients and staff from the threat of COVID-19. We ask people that you follow these updated guidelines when visiting our office for your exam or other purpose:

First and foremost, if you are experiencing any possible symptoms of COVID, such as fever, cough, shortness of breath, headache or muscle aches, new loss of taste or smell, or other common symptoms, we ask that you stay home and contact our office to reschedule your appointment. 

If you’ve been exposed to COVID-19 or been in contact with someone who may have been exposed, or you’ve traveled outside of the United States in the past 14 days, we also ask that you stay home and reschedule your appointment. 

When you arrive for your appointment, please remain in your car and call our office at 734-699-1010 or send a text to the number we’ve provided to you in our appointment email notification to let us know you’ve arrived. We will call you inside when we are ready for you. Patients must also wear a face covering, such as a cloth mask, before entering our office for your appointment. We also ask that you please visit our office alone, or limit the number of people you are with to one person if necessary.

Finally, we encourage you to download paperwork under Patient Information above and complete it prior to coming in. We can also provide electronic check-in when you arrive if necessary. 

This is a unique time for all of us and we are thankful to be able to open and see patients again. Our goal is to provide you the same wonderful care you’ve come to expect from Perspective Eyecare in a safe and effective way. Special upcoming Friday hours!

We will be open a few Fridays in May and June, and while this Friday's appointment book is full, the rest of the Friday appointments are available. You can also stop by to pick up glasses or ask questions any of those days. The schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 5, 2017: 9am-2pm (appointments full)
Friday, May 19, 2017: 9am-2pm (many appointments available)
Friday, June 16, 2017: 9am-2pm (many appointments available)
Friday, June 23, 2017: 9am-2pm (many appointments available)

We also have one or two openings on Saturday, May 20 if you are interested.

Pardon our dust

Many of you have expressed concern over the condition of the parking lot. You'll be happy to know that it is being resurfaced this week in sections and should be completed very soon. Also be sure to stop by to see our selection of sunglasses and take $20-$50 off selected styles and brands. Details are available in-store, or call us at 734-699-1010.

One more note - the office will be closed Friday, May 23rd through Monday, May 26th for Memorial Day weekend. We will be open as scheduled on Tuesday, May 27th.

Dr. Deo

For all of you needing to get in while
Dr. Kennedy is on vacation, we are pleased to announce Dr. Deo will be filling in for him!

Dr. Deo is a fabulous optometrist with many years of experience and was chosen by Dr. Kennedy to take care of our patients.

He will be available for appointments the following dates:
December 22, December 27, and December 29. (Possibly Dec 26th as well).
